All About the Kids
We have kids - we love them dearly. A perk of being a photographer is that I have a fair few photos of them - decent ones that sit proudly on my lounge wall. We LOVE those pictures and the more time that goes by the more important they are.
2025 will be our first with an empty nest as both of them will have left the Island to explore the great wild world…(or parts of the south of England anyway). The point is that they grow up and having these special photographs on our wall is simply wonderful…

My child might be difficult, are you happy to try?
I have nearly 20 years experience and am confident that I can work with any situation and I’ll always be professional no matter the reception.
Being the centre of attention is not everyone’s cup of tea but with care and time and gentle persuasion we will get some great images I’m sure.
Worst case scenario you can either receive a refund of your shoot or we try again another day… no drama.
Do the images here reflect what I’ll receive?
If you like what you see on this page then I am definitely the photographer for you. These are my images, taken recently and I’ve been granted permission from Mum and Dad to show them to you. You can very much expect your set of images to look like these.
How long does a shoot take?
I love to work fast and keep the energy high so most photo shoots last around 30-45 minutes. However they are not really time based it’s simply a case of working together to have fun and when I know I’ve got some great images we stop :)
Can we be in the photographs?
Of course. These shoots are designed to focus on your child/children but if parents and want to jump in at the end for a few together then no problem at all. If you want to focus mainly on family then book a Family shoot and I’ll plan accordingly.
How much are prints?
After the shoot your images will be ready to view within a week. They will be delivered into an online viewing gallery where you can browse and make decisions. Prices of photographs can be found here
What do I need to bring?
Maybe bring a prop or two. Something that really resonates with them. My son’s portrait includes his guitar and my daughter was full on made up to look like the Joker as she’s quite the character..
Making an effort, either clothes or props, is key - it makes them feel special and this will shine though in your final images.
