Frequently asked questions…
Is my baby the right age?
I love to photograph babies with a little personality and so I would recommend waiting for a first photoshoot until around 3-4 months old. Little smiles are easier to come by and tummy time offers a whole new angle for great photos without the need for un-natural posing.
Baby shoots are appropriate for ages 3 -18 months approximately.
Do the images here reflect what I’ll receive?
If you like what you see on this page then I am definitely the photographer for you. These are my images, taken recently and I’ve been granted permission from Mum and Dad to show them to you. You can very much expect your set of images to look like these.
How long does a shoot take?
We need to work fast and so most photo shoots last around 30 minutes before there’s a bit too much stimulation and emotions start to get the better of them lol.
Can we be in the photographs?
Of course. These shoots are designed to focus on your baby but if parents and siblings want to jump in at the end for a few together then no problem at all. If you want to focus on family or all the children together then book a Family shoot and I’ll plan accordingly.
How much are prints?
After the shoot your images will be ready to view within a week. They will be delivered into an online viewing gallery where you can browse and make decisions. Prices of photographs can be found here
What do I need to bring?
For babies under 6 months you don’t really need to think too hard at all. In their nappy is totally fine as I concentrate on faces and have loads of blankets to play with.
For older babies and toddlers then investing in a super smart outfit or dress can make for wonderful images. Take a look at the examples below.
