I’m always happy to quote but as a general guide the following rates apply:

The prices quoted above are an ‘all inclusive’ price – I will not make any additional charges for standard image processing (which should be all you need) OR usage/license fees. Expenses are charged for sites not on the Isle of Wight -please see the details below.

You will receive:

• My time, skill and expertise both before during and after the shoot.

• Standard image processing – they will be cropped, edited for colour balance, basic sharpening and, as necessary, corrected for geometry.All the images from the shoot that I feel fit the brief and are consistent with the quality you expect from me.

• Supply of your high resolution images via secure digital gallery and download.

• A license/the right to use your images – I do not normally place any time restrictions on how long you can use the images or how many times you use them, BUT there may be restrictions on HOW you use them and these will be detailed in your quote (this restriction usually only applies to large scale, world-wide, non-web advertising campaigns)

• I aim to store all of my original photo files.

• Public Liability Insurance up to £5 million

Rates apply to pre-booked jobs only and a goal of delivery of images within 24hours.
Most of my work is charged at Standard rate, Extended charges apply to advanced projects or perhaps where the brief changes significantly on the day or for expedited processing of images.

All photography prices are for guidance only and I am not VAT registered.

Expenses

Any expenses will be clearly detailed on your quote, but in general:

• I charge mileage for all projects not on the Isle of Wight at £0.65 per mile

• I charge travel time and ferry travel costs for all projects not on the Isle of Wight. Travel time will be charged at £30.00 per hour. Ferry will be charged at cost

• Hotels and expenses (if required) are charged at cost

• A minimum half day rate is charged for all non-Isle of Wight projects, excluding travel time.

Processing costs

• Basic image processing – cropping, editing for colour balance, basic sharpening and corrections for geometry – is included in the price you pay for me to take your photos.

• Enhanced image processing and Photoshop work – if required – is charged at £84 per hour or part thereof

Your photos – the technical bit

I supply images electronically via download in RGB digital format. I will usually supply high resolution JPEG files at a ‘print ready’ resolution of 300ppi. Other file formats – PSD, PSB or TIFF – are available on request (an additional charge may be made).

Please note that as part of our quality control procedures, I will only supply images in CMYK formats upon receipt of precise ICC profiles and/or conversion details, along with a written specification of the conversion requirements. There may be a charge for some CMYK image conversion work.

Product photography prices

All my product photography services are charged at the rates shown on this page and generally take place at the large studio in Cowes. However arrangements can be made to shoot on location. Please contact me for further information.
