Carole & Maxime renewed their vows in Sandown Methodist Church here on the Isle of Wight. Their wedding was very much a community centered occasion with the reception taking place in the church hall and plenty of local residents attending. A magician entertained young and old and the DJ was worn out teaching the guests all manner of dance moves!
Here are some images from their pre-wedding shoot and the wedding itself. If you want to see more then you'll need the password from the couple but their photos can be found on my website.. just click the link above.

Ailsa and Tom were married in St Mildred's church in Whippingham here on the Isle of Wight on what was a pretty wet and windy day! Despite the weather, which scuppered plans for some boating, everyone had a wonderful time especially at the reception held at a family home in Gurnard. Food was provided by All About Catering and the evening entertainment was provided by good friends Cornerstone Entertainment.
Here are some photographs of the day. Their full album is available to view on my website, just click the link above. You will need the password from Ailsa or Tom so just drop them an email or give them a ring if you don't have it.

Robert Longford Photography is very proud to announce the arrival of a second photographer in response to growing demand and the appetite for pushing the creativity boundries.
Joe has travelled extensively and will bring some great skills to the business. He has a number of wedding bookings for this season and already has two solo weddings under his belt with some great images to show for it as i'm sure you'll agree. Joe gives us the opportunity to offer couples the option of having a second photographer for their wedding day.
What difference will a second photographer make?
Firstly, your primary photographer will capture all those important, unforgettable moments as well as make the formal photographs engaging and more importantly fun. This will provide you with a stunning set of images that you will treasure forever.
A second photographer however, adds a new dimension to the images of your special day. For the important moments, such as the wedding ceremony, speeches and first dance the second photographer will offer a different viewpoint, therefore making your wedding images more dynamic. In addition, the second photographer can capture more of those candid shots when the primary photographer is already capturing those important moments. Similarly, the second photographer also has more creative freedom safe in the knowledge that the primary photographer hasn't missed anything. A second photographer is particularly recommended for weddings with a large number of guests, or where coverage is required in multiple locations simultaneously, such as the Bride and Groom getting ready. As a result you will be presented with more images to select for your album, ultimately giving you a wider choice of first class images.
Here is a selection of Joe's travel and wedding images from the last year.

The Cowes studio is relatively large and allows us to accommodate groups of up to about 20 or so adults. It's ideal for the Island where family groups tend to get together and descend all at once during the summer months.
If you are part of a larger family or team and would love to have a studio shot of all of you then contact us now to book in..

The website has had a little revamp bringing summer freshness and flowers! I really am looking forward to this summer, the most weddings ever and a second photographer starting in a couple of weeks! Very exciting stuff.
To celebrate the sunshine, here's a photo that I took yesterday evening in a field near Gatcombe.

'Your Sussex Wedding Magazine' will be publishing some of my photographs as part of a 4 page feature on Emma and Jamie's Wedding that took place last year in Brighton. Twas a windy day which really complemented Emma's amazing dress! After dinner we all headed on to the beach for ice-cream and doughnuts - A TRUE British Summer Wedding and great fun!

Fay & Jamie were married at St Mary's in Northwood Park and then headed to the Island Sailing Club for a grand reception! The weather was stunning and so we ventured out along the parade and got some lovely shots.
More photos are available to view in the CLIENT ALBUMS section but you'll need the password from the happy couple when they return from Honeymoon.

These guys were some of my very first clients and so I was very proud to be taking photographs of their first baby.. She is adorable!
